Terry McReynolds

Degrees & Certifications:
I hold a BA in Liberal Studies from California State University, Fresno and earned my Multiple Subject Credential through Fresno State’s School of Education. In addition, I hold a CLAD certificate and a VPSS certificate in English, and I have cleared my credential through BTSA. My credential is valid through 2030.

This year marks my 26th year of teaching. Over the years, I have taught primary, intermediate and high school levels. Currently, I teach English 9-12 as well as elective courses. I am excited for the 2025-2026 school year and look forward to building a strong learning community with my students. Together we will focus on our RAP: Respect, Accountability and Perseverance- values we will practice daily as we grow and learn.

Philosophy of Education 

My philosophy in education is centered around  Essentialism. I believe that all students should learn a core set of knowledge and skills to become productive members of society. I believe in discipline, hard work, and mastery of essential academic subjects like reading, writing, math, science, and history.
